ECHOES OF LAMENT: A Sacred Practice Rediscovered

Join Kate Wiedrick and Darlene Bloom for a five-week guided journey into the sacred rhythm of lament, a forgotten spiritual practice that gives voice to pain, invites God’s presence into our sorrow, and opens a path toward renewed hope. In Scripture, lament is not despair; it is the cry of faith that refuses to turn away from God even in heartbreak. Through teaching, reflection, and shared experience, this course will help you rediscover lament as a language of intimacy, trust, and restoration.

In community, we will learn how to name what has been lost, to grieve honestly, and to bring every question and ache before God without fear. Each week will offer a rhythm of reflection, prayer, and guided practices that nurture healing and deepen spiritual connection. Whether you are walking through personal pain, seeking to companion others in theirs, or simply longing for a more honest faith, this journey will help you encounter the God who meets us in our tears.
