Oct 18 Update

Good morning:
Yesterday Dennis was still in the process of trying to wake. As is expected, he gets agitated at all the tubing. That increases his heart rate and the team is trying to monitor that and find a way to help him wake at the same time. For now, they give him pain meds through his IV lines and that settles him very quickly. I saw that with my own eyes, however it makes him sleepy.

I will be asking to speak to his Doctor today, to get a clearer sense of the plan.

For now, would you please agree with me that his heart will be able to manage this transition from asleep to wakefulness? Please cover the kidney failure, that they would heal even more.

As I sit with him, I quiet my spirit and ask what Holy Spirit wants to show me about the spiritual side of this journey. Yesterday, I could see in the spirit, the cloud of witness. There were many on a balcony, leaning over and attending to the reality here on earth. As your prayers were ascending, one would lean over the balcony and grasp it. Then, they would say, “I have this” and move away from the edge and take it to prayer with them.

This partnership of heaven and earth is I believe one of the realities of His kingdom coming on earth as it is in heaven.

Thank you all for everything.

Abigail is getting stronger but still battles real fatigue. This is somewhat normal for a woman 8 months along but it is still related to the recovery. I treasure all of your prayers.

We all do. Off to see him shortly.

With love

Katie and Family.

PS - Today Dennis will be having a CT scan of his lungs and head. That is to be sure there in nothing going that might be causing him pain. They feel that his kidneys can handle it. I will let you know the results tomorrow.
